1. READY FAULT
Test attempted before Interlock was ready
Press power button and begin again
Wait for flashing light on sampling head
2. IGNITION FAULT
Ignition key in "on" position before testing
Turn key to the "off" position
Press power button and begin again
3. SAMPLING HEAD FAULT
Connection is improper of malfunctioning
Check sampling head connection
Press power button and begin again
4. BATTERY FAULT
Interlock detects a low battery voltage
Have car battery/electrical system serviced
Notify the Guardian Service Center
5. POWER INTERRUPT
Power has been disconnected at car battery
Light remains "on" until serviced
Retain records of any services performed
6. GUARDLINK
Indicates attempt to bypass Interlock
Light remains "on" until serviced
Interlock and car will function normally
7. LOCK-OUT
3 fails in a row alcohol and/or CBPA
The car will not start for 15 minutes
After 15 minutes you have 3 new attempts
8. MEMO MINDER (3)
A reminder to keep your service appointment
SVC light begins flashing 3 days prior
Contact Service Center immediately
9. MEMO MINDER (7)
Failure to keep service appointment
The car will not start
Contact Service Center for instructions
